now with the new light from jw a person with only 14 minutes of time will now be disqualified as being a servant of jah.. it is amazing how many jw will view this arrangement as a "loving provision from jah" instead of realizing that thier service to thier god has been reduced to whether they get 15min or 14 min.

nochoice, what I value most is my personal relationship with Jehovah. The happiest hour of my day is the hour I spend praying.

I actually like the "shopping cart" illustration. It's true in many ways.

I'm sorry that some people found no joy in being one of JW's, but I have found great joy in serving Jehovah as one of His Witnesses.

I had just the opposite experience. I was raised in the world and knew as a child that there was something fundamentally wrong with it.

When I finally found JW's in my mid-twenties, I found what I had been looking for all my young life; a conscientious group of people who truly wanted to follow in the evangelizing footsteps of Christ.

ok, a thread began with members who found their way out by "company literature" or "apostate literature", but what about thoughtless to evil actions by happy and humble witnesses?.

were most members caring, compassionate and lovings (john 13:33-35), which made coming to jwn diffucult, or did their conduct push you to seek anwsers here?

i had a traveling overseer tell me, "i am so happy you are enduring the wicked actions lodged against you, keep up the good work!

What I think about the "We just love this idea" of David Splane

the jw.org video about the annual meeting contains david splane saying "we just love this idea", when talking about the adjusted fds doctrine.

"we just love this idea"????

when it becomes one of the fundament teachings of the organisational part of a religion, the rank-and-file witnesses are expected to be convinced about these kind of doctrines.
